Stud Blanks

Stud blanks serve as temporary placeholders when you wish to use a threaded horseshoe without studs, such as when your horse is part of a group living situation. These stud blanks safeguard the screw threads from dirt and potential damage, allowing for straightforward stud reattachment when needed

Please note that only Duplo models with ring-shaped metal inlay are appropriate for regular stud changes.

The size of the M8 stud blank is metric M8 x 1.25 x 8mm.

A 4mm or 5/32 inch hex key or bit is needed to insert and remove the M8 stud blanks. 

The size of the M10 stud blank is metric M10 x 1.50 x 10mm.

A 5mm or 3/16 inch hex key or bit is needed to insert and remove the M10 stud blanks.
