GripStuds - Tungsten Carbide Self-Tapping Spikes

Used for improved traction.

Spikes and studs provide additional grip on slippery or winter surfaces. Proper installation and regular inspection are the responsibility of the horse owner in cooperation with the farrier.

Riding speed should always be adapted to ground conditions, particularly on slick surfaces.

Please note that the use of spikes and studs may increase the risk of injury in herd situations.

Be sure to order the proper sized adapter when ordering spikes.

The L size is not suitable for use in the toe area of the STS (Straight Toe Shoe). 

The Clamshell has the adapter tool included.

The Handle for manually inserting the studs with the adapter tool does not come with the adapter.
