Duplo STS - Straight Toe Shoe - Clipped and Threaded M8 for Anti-Skid Studs

Compared to its round or oval counterparts, the STS model offers the same functionality but with a slightly straightened toe area.

The clips help to keep the Duplo composite horseshoe in place during the regular shoeing period.

The Studs with Disc are to be used with this model. These should remain in the shoe once installed and use of a thread lock is recommended. Since the thread inserts are set in the composite material, studs cannot be changed out. Once inserted they should remain in shoe and not be reused.

The use of spikes and studs as well as the monitoring of correct fit and intactness during the shoeing period is the responsibility of the horse owner in cooperation with the on-site farrier. Speed, especially on slippery surfaces and in winter conditions, is always at the discretion of the rider. To prevent injuries, speed must be reduced appropriately. The use of spikes and studs increases the risk of injuries in herd situations.
