The Base Plate — A Glue-On Horseshoe Closest to Barefoot

The base plate was developed as a variant of our well-known pure plastic model, the 'Classic,' in response to customer feedback requesting a fully closed baseplate without nailing slots.

Initially, the 'Classic,' made from pure urethane, was designed as a new outsole for worn-out hoof boots and later adapted as a glue-on horseshoe. Due to production constraints at the time, the 'Classic' featured nailing slots. Recognizing the demand for a completely closed version, we decided to replace the 'Classic' with a new base plate featuring a closed sole area.

Like the 'Classic,' the base plate can be used as a new baseplate for worn-out hoof boots and as a glue-on shoe, providing a barefoot-like experience. It is not suitable for use as a nail-on horseshoe.
